Showing spaces at their best

Good property photography comes down to accuracy and atmosphere. Verticals need to be straight, colours need to be true, and the space needs to feel inviting without looking misleading. Whether it's a hotel suite, a restaurant dining room, an Airbnb listing or a newly finished interior design project, the goal is always the same: make someone want to walk through the door.

I've worked with major hotel chains including Novotel, Ibis and Ennio's, alongside boutique hotels, independent Airbnb hosts and interior designers across Hampshire and beyond. For interiors, I pay close attention to how light moves through a room and how the space is meant to be experienced. I'll work with available light where it suits the mood, or bring in lighting to fill darker corners and keep things looking natural.

Exteriors tend to come as part of a wider shoot rather than as a standalone brief. When I'm on location at a restaurant, hotel or retail space, I'll always pick up the building frontage, signage and any architectural details worth capturing. The range is broad, shopping centres, restaurant facades, residential properties, all sorts. It's about making sure the exterior sets the right expectation for what's inside.

Based in Southampton and working across Portsmouth, Winchester and London, I cover everything from a quick half-day at a single property to multi-day shoots across a hotel group's portfolio. Property photography FAQs

What types of interior spaces do you photograph?
I photograph holiday lets, hotels, commercial properties, and residential homes, capturing atmosphere and key features.
How should I prepare a space for an interior shoot?
Clean and declutter the space. Tidy away personal items, ensure all surfaces are clean, and consider simple staging.
Do you use flash for interior photography?
I combine natural ambient light with the subtle use of flash when needed, balancing the two for colour-accurate, inviting images with straight verticals.
Can you shoot interiors and food on the same day?
Yes. For a hospitality venue I can cover interiors, exteriors and food and drink in one efficient visit, so the whole shoot is handled in a single booking.
