People photography covers a lot of ground. It might be a set of LinkedIn headshots for a growing team, lifestyle imagery for a hospitality brand's website, or a boudoir session that someone has been building up the courage to book. The common thread is that every one of these shoots involves a real person in front of the lens, and how they feel during the session directly affects the result.

For portraits and headshots, I bring professional lighting to really control the environment and make sure the light is flattering. I'll chat to you, make you laugh, probably make myself look a bit daft in the process, but that's the point. You stop thinking about the camera and start looking like yourself. Most people tell me afterwards it was far less stressful than they expected.

For lifestyle work, I love getting the over-the-shoulder, almost candid feeling shots of people mingling and going about their day. I use foreground elements to create depth and comfort in the frame while the background sets the scene. The lighting is always considered so the images feel natural but still hold up commercially. It's a balance I've spent years working on.
